Karnataka: Returning from prayers, 4 youths killed in bike crash near Chikkaballapura

CHIKKABALLAPURA: Four youths were killed on the spot when the motorcycle they were travelling on collided head-on with a tipper near Ajjavara village on the outskirts of Chikkaballapura, which is 70 kms from Bengaluru, on Thursday night. The accident occurred around 9.30 pm, according to the district police. The deceased have been identified as Nandish, Narasimha, Arun and Manoj, all in their late 20s and residents of Ajjavara village. Police said the youths were returning home after offering prayers at a church in Chikkaballapura when the mishap took place. The tipper, travelling from Sidlagatta towards Chikkaballapura, rammed into the motorcycle from the opposite direction.Nandish and Narasimha were brothers, while Arun and Manoj were their friends. A case has been registered and further investigation is under way.
