PUNE: After several flip flops and a series of meetings with different parties, both NCP groups finally on Monday announced their tie-up for Pune municipal corporation and Pimpri Chinchwad municipal corporation polls scheduled for Jan 15. However, candidates will contest on their respective party symbols.An undivided NCP held office in PMC from 2007 to 2017, when it lost to BJP and became the opposition party.Deputy chief minister and NCP chief Ajit Pawar announced the alliance in Pimpri Chinchwad on Sunday. His nephew Rohit Pawar, who is the state general secretary of NCP (SP), announced the tie-up for PMC on Monday.
