In a proactive move towards voter awareness and empowerment, a voter awareness program was organized today in Gram Bargari, under the guidance of Abhijeet Singh, District Collector, and District Election Officer, in collaboration with the CEO of District Panchayat and the nodal officer of the Swachh Bharat Mission, Sumit Agrawal.

Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, the voter awareness program was conducted in the Gram Panchayat Bargari, where workers engaged in MNREGA activities were informed about the significance of exercising their voting rights. Emphasizing the importance of electoral participation, they were educated about their rights as voters.

Furthermore, in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the CEO of the Janpad Panchayat administered an oath to ensure compulsory voting on Election Day. This initiative aims to encourage active participation in the democratic process and foster a sense of responsibility among citizens.

This voter awareness initiative not only serves to inform MNREGA workers about their rights but also underscores the importance of civic engagement and democratic values. Through such programs, efforts are made to build a more informed and participative electorate, contributing to the strengthening of democracy at the grassroots level.
