Tamil Nadu govt Thursday moved Madras HC to cancel the interim bail granted on medical grounds to YouTuber Savukku Shankar in 17 cases, alleging that he lied about his medical conditions and made eight videos of 60 minutes’ duration each in the span of one week.Justices P Velmurugan and M Jothiraman observed that Shankar should not have done what was being alleged while on interim bail. It directed him to respond to plea by Jan 19. The interim bail was sought by Shankar’s mother for him to undergo necessary specialised treatment.
