‘Border 2’ is all set to arrive in cinemas this month. Ahead of its release, Varun Dhawan, who is part of the film, faced trolling over his performance in the ‘Ghar Kab Jaoge’ song. The actor called out “paid campaigns” against him. And now, the film’s producer, Nidhi Dutta, has hit back at the trolls, calling them “anti-nationals.“
Nidhi Dutta reacts to people trolling Varun Dhawan for ‘Border 2’
Nidhi Dutta, daughter of the filmmaker JP Dutta, who had helmed ‘Border’ (1997), took to her X account and reshared a post that talked about how PR campaigns are being run to malign the image of Varun Dhawan. The caption read, “Congratulations to all the ANTI-NATIONALS. THAT CAN PAY TO BRING DOWN AN ACTOR PLAYING A PVC OF THIS COUNTRY. This is YOUR FILM, INDIA! Hope the audiences find and shame these people.”

The producer had limited her comments on the post. However, a netizen questioned her about how a producer can label someone anti-national for calling out an actor’s performance in a movie.

Varun Dhawan’s reply
Varun Dhawan had dropped a social media post of the song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’, in the comment section of which a person asked, “Bhai apka acting pe sawal utha raha hai log uske liyeee kya bolega (Brother, people are raising questions on your acting skills. What will you say about it)?” To that, Varun replied, “@sahjaan_18 Yehi sawaal ne gaana hit karadi sab enjoy kar rahe hain, rab di mehar. (This question made the song a hit. Everyone is enjoying it. God is great).”
