Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni made a striking appearance on day one of their settlement talks. While the director was all smiles as he headed into court, Blake looked rather tense while making a solo appearance. Interestingly, it didn’t take long for netizens to point out that both actors embattled in the USD 550 million lawsuit were unintentionally twinning for the trial. The ‘It Ends With Us’ co-stars arrived for the closed-door conference dressed in soft pastel pink tops that they paired with their coats and pants in shades of green. Social media users seemed to crack up over the two “twinning” for the hearing, with some speculating whether the colour choices were intentional.
Did Justin & Blake call each other to coordinate matching outfits for court? 😭

Justin walking proudly with his wife Emily by his side..smiling, gracious, and confident as ever. 💕
In contrast, Blake walks alone. No family, no Ryan, no visible support.

Justin Baldoni and Jamey Heath both showing up to court with their wives by their side.
Meanwhile, Blake Lively arrives SOLO. Ryan Reynolds is nowhere to be seen. As his wife faces the men that “harassed” her.

Blake Lively was allegedly SH and her husband Ryan Reynolds didn’t even come to support her. Let her face other side by herself. I guess separation rumors might be true now

Actor Blake and director Justin came to a New York courthouse on Wednesday to see if her lawsuit alleging sexual harassment on the set of the 2024 romantic drama “It Ends With Us” could be settled before a May trial. The talks between lawyers went on over a six-hour period before Lively and Baldoni left the Manhattan federal courthouse separately and went straight to their waiting cars without saying anything. Lively looked stern as she walked out while Baldoni was smiling.Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman said in an email that the talks did not result in a settlement.
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni attend mandatory settlement talks
Mandatory settlement talks are generally required before a civil case proceeds to trial. They are not held in public.Their acrimonious yearlong litigation has cast a wide net across the entertainment world, drawing into the headlines other actors, musicians and celebrities and raising questions about the power, influence and gender dynamics in Hollywood.
About the lawsuits
Lively sued Baldoni and his hired crisis communications expert alleging harassment and a coordinated campaign to attack her reputation after she complained about his treatment of her on the movie set.Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios production company countersued Lively and her husband, “Deadpool” actor Ryan Reynolds, accusing them of defamation and extortion. Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed that suit last June.
