Rajpal Yadav is currently in the Tihar jail and his bail application has now been moved to Monday, February 16, as per the court’s orders. For those not in the know, the actor is currently under debts of Rs 9 crore. During the recent proceedings, his lawyer informed the court that despite repeated efforts, he had been unable to establish contact with Yadav. He submitted that a bail plea had already been filed and sought time to formally serve a response to the opposing party. The counsel also assured the bench that he would return with comprehensive arguments on the next date of hearing.Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma expressed strong displeasure over the matter, noting that the actor had time and again assured the court that he would repay the outstanding loan. The judge observed that while multiple commitments had been made, no concrete payment had been effected toward settling the dues.Amid these legal developments, several old videos of Rajpal Yadav have resurfaced online. One such clip from December 2025, showing the actor’s visit to spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan, is now being widely circulated. Social media users are revisiting the video, with some suggesting that the guru may have foreseen impending challenges in the actor’s life.In the viral footage, Rajpal Yadav is seen greeting Premanand Maharaj with a smile. Maharaj Ji asks him, “Are you alright?” to which the actor responds, “I’m fine today.” The spiritual leader then laughs and remarks, “Rajpal Ji constantly makes people laugh and entertains everyone, which is a very good thing.” During that meeting, Rajpal also spoke about his late guru, Shri Pandit Dev Prabhakar Ji Shastri, who passed away in 2020. He revealed that he received initiation in 1999 and, together with his guru, performed 1.25 crore earthen Shivlings, the Maharudra Yagna, and several other rituals aimed at global welfare. Despite continuing his acting career, he said he remained spiritually devoted and connected to his guru throughout that period. After listening to him, Premanand Maharaj shared reflections on life that many now find strikingly relevant. He said, “The true purpose of life is to keep the mind connected to God. Life brings difficulties, sorrows, separation from loved ones, and situations that make it hard to live. There are financial problems and troubles in relationships. In all such times, only God offers support. People stand by you in good times, but when they sense trouble approaching, they step away, afraid of getting involved.”
