Sunny Deol has made a comeback with ‘Gadar 2,’ after which he has been delivering consecutive hits at the box office. While he is currently enjoying the success of his last release, ‘Border 2’, the actor opened up about the makers of ‘Dhurandhar’ using the dialogue ‘Ghayal hoon isliye ghatak hoon,’ which mentions names of the movies he has featured in. In an interview with ANI, Sunny Deol was asked if the makers of ‘Dhurandhar’ approached him or gave royalties to him for using the titles of his movies in their dialogue. To which the actor gently smiled and said, “Humare jo director (Aditya Dhar) hai, he is a great fan. Unhone meri picturein dekhi hain. Aur I think unhone Ghayal aur Ghatak yeh sab bhi dekhi hai (Our director is a big fan. He has watched my films. And I think he has also seen ‘Ghayal’ and ‘Ghatak’ and all those films too).”
Sunny Deol added, “I think just for the respect, I think they have used the dialogue; I mean, they used the titles. Which is very sweet.”With that statement, the veteran actor clarified that without any commercial arrangement.

After the massive success of ‘Dhurandhar’, part two of the film is set for the March release. The film, which has a huge buzz around it, will showcase the rise of Ranveer Singh‘s character, Hamza Ali Mazari, in the Lyari town of Pakistan. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film will release in theaters on March 19, 2026.
