The star dancer revealed that he is going to tie the knot soon with one of his former crew members. YOUNG J announces marriage plans
Taking to social media on February 17, the famed star posted a series of photos from his wedding photoshoot. He shared the photos along with the caption “Receive lots of blessings in the new year. It’s almost here.” The wedding is said to be held in Seoul on February 22. He revealed further details, citing that the two had met when she was a crew member of his dance crew. The two had gotten to know each other over time, and after a while, she had departed from the group. They had continued to see each other after that as well, and only recently decided to tie the knot. What has caused major controversy after the announcement is that, according to reports from The Chosun Daily, the crew member in question was born in 2005. YOUNG J is 33 years old. The 13-year age difference has brought forth a lot of backlash online.
YOUNG J issues an official statement
Following the online backlash, the dancer issued an online statement about the matter. He provided clarifications that the two had started dating when she became an adult. His statement read, “We began dating after my girlfriend became an adult. I am sorry for causing confusion to those who supported and loved our team because of our relationship.”
