Salman Khan visits at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Friday morning to visit his sick father, Salim Khan. A video on social media showed his car arriving with his security team. As per the reports, the actor has paused the shoot of his film ‘Battle of Galwan’ and other work to spend time with his father.
Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan remains on ventilator support
Veteran writer Salim Khan has been hospitalised since February 17 and is currently on ventilator support, according to reports. Dr. Jalil Parkar, who is overseeing his treatment, shared on Wednesday that Khan suffered a minor brain haemorrhage, after which doctors performed a standard medical procedure.

Earlier, the doctor shared, “He was having jerks and his blood pressure was high. We treated him. We had to put him on a ventilator so that he would not worsen. It wasn’t because he was critical. We did the investigations that were required. We have done a small procedure on him. I will not go into its details. He is fine. He is stable. He has been shifted to the ICU. He is doing quite well. Age is a factor, I understand. That is why the process of recovery will take time”.

However, later reports suggested that Salman was unhappy with the doctors and instructed them not to disclose any updates about Salim’s health to the media. The family has reportedly chosen to keep matters private and steer clear of any speculation surrounding Salim Khan’s condition.

A source close to the Khan family revealed to Variety India that they prefer to keep Salim Khan’s health matters private and away from media attention. He shared, “Health is a private matter. Ideally, no updates should be shared with the media and any communication should be left entirely to the family, if and when they choose to address fans and well-wishers”. The insider also mentioned that Salman and his family were upset with the doctor’s public comments and have instructed the hospital not to release any further information.
