Chalamet’s portrayal of Marty Mauser gained a lot of praise ever since the release of the film; however, the film failed to impress at the 2026 BAFTA Awards. ‘Marty Supreme’ performance at the award seasons beyond BAFTA
Although the film did not manage to score anything at the BAFTA Awards, it still led a strong showing at the Golden Globe Awards and the Critics’ Choice Awards. At both of the award shows, Chalamet was proudly nominated for the Best Actor category and took the title home, beating out many other major contenders for the night.The next big award show to be on the lookout for is the Oscar Awards, set to air on March 15 next month. There, the film has been nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Original Screenplay, Best Casting, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Editing, and Best Costume Design.
