The 2026 BAFTA ceremony highlighted the breadth of global cinema, with top honors shared by the hard‑hitting drama ‘One Battle After Another’ and Michael B. Jordan’s dark, character‑driven ‘Sinners.’ In a major win for Indian cinema, ‘Boong’ captured the Children’s & Family Film award.

This year’s BAFTA awards brought light to a lot of different films, stories, actors, and voices. The event helped in uniting different and contrasting stories and bringing them under one roof for celebration. Various films took home BAFTA titles, including ‘One Battle After Another’, ‘Sinners’, as well as India’s own entry, ‘Boong.’ Here is a list of all of the winning films for the glamorous night and where you can catch them.

‘One Battle After Another’

Led by Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the film explores the story of a paranoid former revolutionary living off-grid with his daughter. When the past comes knocking, he must do everything for his daughter. The film won Best Film, Best Director (Paul Thomas Anderson), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor (Sean Penn), Best Cinematography, and Best Editing. It can be rented on Prime Video and will be available on JioHotstar from February 26.

‘Sinners’

Michael B Jordan’s vampire tale beat all odds and won big at the BAFTAs. It landed Best Original Screenplay (Ryan Coogler), Best Supporting Actress (Wunmi Mosaku), and Best Original Score titles. The story revolves around twin brothers returning to their hometown to build a community. Though when the nighttime hits, creatures that were unheard of come knocking on the door. The film is available for streaming and renting on JioHotstar, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and BookMyShow Stream.

‘Hamnet’

Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley’s ‘Hamnet’ was another popular film of the night. It follows the story of William Shakespeare’s 11-year-old son’s death and how the couple navigates their life amid the tragedy. The film won Outstanding British Film and Best Leading Actress (Jessie Buckley) at the event, and is available for streaming on Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango At Home, and ROW8.

‘Boong’

Beating out big names such as ‘Zootopia 2’ and ‘Elio’, India’s entry for BAFTA 2026 brought home a major title. It won the Children’s & Family Film category and is set against the backdrop of Manipur. The story follows a young boy who goes on a quest from Imphal to Moreh to find his missing father. The film is not available for viewing online; however, after the BAFTA success, it is expected to be released on OTT platforms.

‘I Swear’

The film won in the Best Casting and Best Leading Actor (Robert Aramayo) categories. ‘I Swear’ is based on the life and happenings of John Davidson, a public personality and advocate for Tourette’s Syndrome. The film is available on Prime Video, Apple TV Store, Rakuten TV, and Sky Store, and is expected to be released on Netflix on March 10.

‘Sentimental Value’

‘Sentimental Value’ is about two estranged sisters who are forced to reconnect with their father, who is obsessed with making films again to return to the glory days. The film was another critically acclaimed release last year, and performed fairly well at the award season. At the BAFTAs, it won the title for Best Film Not in the English Language. It is available for streaming on Prime Video, Google Play, and Vudu.

‘Frankenstein’

Guillermo Del Toro’s OTT release was a critically acclaimed piece of work that explored the classic ‘Frankenstein’ tale through his eyes. Starring Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, and Oscar Isaac in the lead, the film was another hit. It won Best production design and Best make-up & hair, and is available for streaming on Netflix.
