Earlier, Aamir opened up about his deep commitment to girlfriend, describing their bond as so profound that he already considers himself “already married” to her inwardly, despite no official wedding yet. “Well, Gauri and I are really serious about each other, and we are in a very committed space. We are, you know, we are partners. We are together,” he explained. Adding further, “Marriage is something… I mean, in my heart, I’m already married to her. So whether we formalise it or not is something that I will decide as we go along.”

During his session at the 56th International Film Festival of India, Khan called for full disclosure of box office data to audiences everywhere. Drawing parallels to U.S. practices with tools like “rent rack,” the actor remarked, “Really, this should be transparent. What are we hiding? We know how many screens the film is released in. All we need to, and there are these rent rack, is it called rent rack? Where you get the numbers in the US. You come to know what the collections are. I don’t know. So that’s how it should be.” He expressed concern over collections dominating film judgments, observing, “I don’t know, there should not be secrecy about numbers. I just got a little curious because now for people, that has become almost like an evaluative criterion.”
