Early reports indicate that director Nelson Dilipkumar is preparing an unconventional route for the film’s visual style.According to updates from the Touring Talkies channel, the team is considering shooting the entire film on a traditional film camera. This medium dominated the 1980s and 1990s. Nelson and cinematographer Rajiv Menon had earlier planned to shoot the promo in the same format. They had to abandon the idea at the last minute due to time constraints. The pair now hopes to execute the plan for the main shoot with careful scheduling.

He said, “I think probably next year, the film will go on floors, and there’s a lot of hype and hoopla around it.” He also explained his approach to the promo’s music. Over the years, Anirudh has created several high-energy mass tracks for both stars. This time, he wanted a shift. He leaned toward a nostalgic sound to complement the project’s retro tone. The result was the promo track Aaja Raja. He said he felt relieved after witnessing the positive audience reaction.The grand launch of ‘KH x RK’ sets the stageThe launch of KH x RK created a major wave within the Tamil film industry and fans have been waiting decades to see Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth share screen space again.
