Actor-turned-politician Vijay spoke about the issues surrounding his upcoming film ‘Jana Nayagan’ during a public rally in Thanjavur. As per ANI, he also acknowledged that even the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. K. Stalin, had spoken about the film earlier. Vijay thanked those who supported him, but also suggested that attempts were being made to silence him. “You may try to silence me, but you cannot silence every Vijay in every household,” he said, adding that the public had already begun expressing their opinions.

‘Jana Nayagan’ initially had a planned to release on January 9 of this year. However, the movie’s premiere had to be postponed due to an issue with censorship. A new release date is yet to be confirmed. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film features a notable cast including Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj, and Mamitha Baiju. The film has gained significant attention as it is widely expected to be Thalapathy Vijay’s final film before he dedicates himself fully to his political career.
