The ‘Harry Potter’ reunion we didn’t know we needed happened backstage at Daniel Radcliffe‘s show. Tom Felton, who played the role of Draco Malfoy opposite Radcliffe’s Harry Potter, turned up to support his former co-star, who returned to Broadway for his latest stage production ‘Every Brilliant Thing’.

Felton, took to his Instagram handle to share a glimpse of the reunion. In the black-and-white photos shared online, the two actors are seen hugging it out backstage. In one pic, the two actors posed together with their arms around each other, smiling for the camera, while the other saw them sharing a warm hug. The photo delighted fans who grew up watching them playing rivals on screen in the globally popular Harry Potter franchise that catapulted their successful film and theatre careers.Captioning the post, Felton wrote, “Broomsticks to Broadway.”

Radcliffe and Felton famously portrayed rivals-turned-iconic characters in the Harry Potter films, with Radcliffe playing the titular wizard and Felton starring as Draco Malfoy.Radcliffe’s return to broadway comes months after Felton reprised his role as Draco Malfoy in ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’, also on Broadway. The actor featured as an older version of his character as he joined an all-new cast. Videos from the show, saw the actor receiving a rousing standing ovation as he made his return to the stage as the beloved character.

Over the years, Felton has been seen spending time with his former co-stars. He has reportedly remained on friendly terms, especially with actress Emma Watson. The two have often been spotted supporting each other’s projects and celebrating milestones in their careers.On the work front, Radcliffe will be seen next in the series ‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’. Felton, on the other hand, will be seen in the ‘R’ rated film ‘They Will Kill You’.
