With that, they ensured that anyone trying to use the late actor’s name in a professional, commercial, or public capacity needs to get permission from the family. According to the report, “As per the copyright, anyone wanting to use the name Rishi Kapoor or mention it in any capacity would need prior permission from the family.” The Kapoor khandaan took this step to make sure that the actor’s name should not be misused. Notably, several celebrities have taken a legal route to protect their personality rights in recent times to prevent unauthorized use of their names or anything related to their identity.
