The marketing push for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ appears to be starting at last. The film’s official website has gone live, and fans quickly spotted what looks like a hidden trailer link in the site’s backend. The page itself is still mostly empty, but the update strongly suggests that the first footage for Tom Holland’s next Spider-Man movie is close, with online chatter now focused on a possible trailer debut as early as next week.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ trailer buzz
ComicBookMovie reported that the official site is now active and that social media users “unearthed a link to the trailer, which isn’t live…yet.” The outlet also said fans found references in the code to future sections, including Videos, About, Behind the Scenes, Gallery, Characters, Sweeps, and Ticketing. Those details point to a much bigger rollout for the movie in the days ahead.

The timing makes sense. A trailer launch next week would give Sony a strong lead-in to its CinemaCon presentation in April, where the studio is expected to spotlight the wall-crawler. Separate reports have also pointed to a trailer release window around next week, adding more weight to the growing speculation.
Director Destin Daniel Cretton has already teased a fresh direction for the film. In January, he said that “directing Spider-Man was one of the roles of a lifetime for me.” He added, “All the creatives involved when I came on board wanted to do something that felt different.” Cretton also said, “Of course, it’s still the Spider-Man that everybody loves, but this is a new chapter in his life, and that tonal shift was something that was really exciting to me. It felt really different, and it was an extremely gratifying experience.”‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ picks up four years after the last chapter and follows a Spider-Man who is protecting New York while being pulled into a bigger mystery. The cast includes Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Sadie Sink, Michael Mando, Tramell Tillman, Marvin Jones III, and Liza Colón-Zayas. The film opens in theaters on July 31, 2026.
