NEW DELHI: Himayani Puri, the daughter of Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri, has approached the Delhi high court seeking the removal of what she calls “false” and “defamatory” social media content linking her to convicted American sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.The court is likely to hear the case later this week.Puri has sought Rs 10 crore in damages and an order restraining individuals and platforms from disseminating the material. She alleges a “coordinated and malicious online” campaign to link her with Epstein and his crimes without any basis. She has also asked the defendants for an unconditional apology and a full retraction.Puri argued that she was being targeted because she is the minister’s daughter.
