As per the report, the Christian Burke family lived in the Punjab of undivided India. Samuel Martin Burke and his sister, Chand Burke, were part of this family. Samuel went on to become Pakistan’s ambassador to 11 countries, while Chand became a supporting actress in Hindi cinema. The village is now in Pakistan after partition. Chand Burke is the grandmother of ‘Dhurandhar’ star Ranveer Singh.
