The 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards are heating up with Taylor Swift leading the pack with nine nominations, including a nod for Artist of the Year. Even without a performance this year, her appearance marks a triumphant return to the spotlight.

Taylor Swift will appear at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, taking place on March 26 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. This year, Swift is up for nine awards, the most of any nominee, including Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, and more.

Swift’s album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ has been breaking records since its release last fall. ‘The Fate of Ophelia,’ from the album is up for five nominations: Song of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, Favorite TikTok Dance, Best Lyrics, and Best Music Video.

Will Taylor Swift perform at the iHeartRadio Music Awards?

Although Taylor Swift will not perform at the award show, her presence is noteworthy this time as she’s been keeping a low profile on public appearances since last December.

Other highlights of the award night

Ludacris will host this year’s show as well as receive the 2026 iHeartRadio Landmark Award. Other special honors include Miley Cyrus getting the iHeartRadio Innovator Award, Alex Warren receiving the iHeartRadio Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award, and John Mellencamp picking up the iHeartRadio Icon Award.

Who will be performing?

Performers announced thus far for the show are Ludacris, Warren, Mellencamp, Lainey Wilson, Raye and the first-time teaming of TLC, Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue. Other celebrities and personalities who will make an appearance on the award show include Olympic skater Alysa Liu, Sombr, Nicole Scherzinger of the newly semi-reformed Pussycat Dolls, Ne-Yo, Nikki Glaser and Weezer.
