‘Dhurandhar 2 ’ closes in on ‘Baahubali 2’ 9-year-long Box Office record
As reports surfaced about ‘Dhurandhar 2’ almost breaking ‘Baahubali 2’s 9-year-long record at the North American Box Office, producer Shobu Yarlagadda reacted and congratulated the team. Taking to his social media, he posted a note about the possible record-breaking feat, he shared, “Yesterday I watched #Dhurandhar2TheRevenge and needless to say I loved it and thoroughly enjoyed the film! Happy to see it breaking all the records and setting new box office benchmarks in India and worldwide! Congratulations to the entire team! (claps emojis)”As per Box Office Mojo reports, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has almost broken the 9-year-long North American box office record previously held by ‘Baahubali 2.’ Prabhas’ film collected around USD 20 million net collection and USD 20.19 million gross collection at the North American Box Office. ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has reached USD 19.33 million in net collection, sitting right at the cusp of breaking the record. The first installment also collected a large amount, closing in on breaking the record with USD 19.7 million gross collection.

The second film has earned Rs 778.77 crore net and Rs 930.44 crore gross in India so far.
