Cardi B and Offset’s sudden split has been in the headlines for months now. Fans had been left wondering as the two talked about the split and why it happened. However, as per the latest reports, Offset is requesting a DNA test for their youngest child as per the official divorce papers filed in court.
Offset requested for a DNA and a paternity test
TMZ recently reported that, according to the famed estranged couple’s divorce filing from February last year, Offset had officially filed a request for a DNA test for her youngest child. At the time, however, the request was denied by the residing judge.Following this, he also made another request to the court. He requested a paternity test on another one of Cardi B’s children, which was granted to him. It has not been revealed which of her children are being referred to in the court order. However, the word ‘newborn’ has been used in official documents, as per the report.The official divorce order also cites that neither Cardi B nor Offset is allowed to make any kind of negative or defamatory remarks against the other person on social media, as well as in interviews and other public media.

The two musicians had been on again and off again on multiple occasions; however, the ‘WAP’ rapper officially filed for divorce in 2024. She had first asked for primary custody of all of her children with Offset. The two share three children, namely: Kulture, who was born in 2018, Wave, who was born in 2021, and Blossom, their youngest, who was born in 2024. Cardi B also has another child with NFL player Stefon Diggs.The two of them have also reportedly split following his match at the Super Bowl. At the time, it was revealed that Cardi B left the event half way through, and even uploaded photos of herself in the car, while Diggs was on the field, playing.
