Man of the moment, Ranveer Singh has been riding high on the success of his movie ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, which has been breaking records at the box office. Besides finding box office glory, the actor found a fan in India’s wheelchair cricketer Bhima Khunti, who lauded his ‘humility and simplicity’.

Khunti, who met Singh at the airport, shared a video of their heartfelt interaction that left a lasting impression on him. Taking to his handle, he e wrote, “Sometimes, life gives you moments you’ll never forget… Today was one of those days. Got the chance to meet Ranveer Singh. I’ve met many people in my life, but the simplicity, humility, and respect I experienced today was truly something special…”Highlighting the interaction, Bhima said, “Being a superstar is one thing, but being a genuinely good human being is what makes you a real star.”Khunti concluded his post by saying, “This moment will stay with me forever.”

Besides stopping to greet Khunti, Ranveer also won hearts when he graciously shook hands with a member of the airport staff. A video doing the rounds sees the actor’s security punching his ticket at the airport gate. On seeing Ranveer, a member of the airport staff extended his hand to greet him. Acknowledging the man, Ranveer shook his hand, before his guard swooped in to ensure the man didn’t get too close.

On his arrival in the city, Ranveer was greeted by the paparazzi who cheered for him. The paparazzi, who usually call the actor ‘Baba’, brought a smile to his face when they called him “box office ka king!”
‘Dhurandhar 2 ‘ box office performance
Meanwhile, ‘Dhurandhar 2’, continues its strong run at the box office, having crossed the Rs 1,055.12 crore net mark. The film’s worldwide collections stand at an estimated Rs 1,671.26 crore, including an India gross of Rs 1,263.26 crore and an overseas haul of Rs 408 crore. With the film now on its way to the Rs 1,700 crore mark, it will be interesting to see if it has what it takes to officially break the box office records of ‘Baabubali 2’ and ‘Pushpa 2’.
