‘You, Me & Tuscany’ scores USD 8 million debut

The weekend’s big new opener was also a Universal release: The travelogue romantic comedy ‘You, Me & Tuscany’, starring Halle Bailey and Rege-Jean Page of ‘Bridgerton’ fame. It debuted in fourth place with an estimated USD 8 million from 3,151 screens against a reported production budget of USD 18 million. Another bright spot was the Japanese video game adaptation ‘Exit 8’, which made USD 1.4 million from only 490 theaters and landed in seventh place. Directed by Genki Kawamura, the Neon-distributed film is sitting at 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ slips out of top 10

The Bollywood film, ‘Dhurandhar 2’, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, has slowed down at the box office. The film that went on to become the highest grossing Indian film at the North American box office, earned an estimated USD 27.36 million total as per Venky box office.
