JAMMU: A UAPA court in Jammu has rejected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) over-ground worker Mohd Rafi alias Lala’s plea for interim bail for 15 days to attend the post-funeral rituals for his mother-in-law after state investigation agency (SIA) described the resident of bordering Poonch district as a flight risk.SIA submitted that Lala is a habitual offender involved in trafficking narcotics, fake currency, and arms. Police seized 7kg drugs, Rs 2.3 in cash, USD 15,000, besides arms and ammunition from his residence.
