Soori starrer ‘Mandaadi’ continued its box office run on the first Tuesday after opening in theatres on September 10. The film has now crossed Rs 50 cr in India net collections.According to Sacnilk, ‘Mandaadi’ earned Rs 4.40 Cr in India net on Day 6. The collection came from 3,542 shows, taking its overall India net total to ₹50.25 Cr. Its India gross collection has reached Rs 58.78 Cr. The movie also added Rs 1.50 cr from overseas markets on Tuesday. Its overseas gross total currently stands at Rs 10.65 cr. The film has recorded a worldwide gross of Rs 69.43 cr.
‘Mandaadi’ crosses Rs 50 cr in India
‘Mandaadi’ reached the Rs 50 cr net milestone within six days of its theatrical release. However, its Day 6 earnings were lower than the collection reported on the previous day. The Soori starrer collected Rs 11.25 cr net on its first Monday. Its Tuesday figure of Rs 4.40 cr represents a 60.9 percent drop from the previous day’s earnings.The movie opened with Rs 4.85 cr on September 10. It then collected Rs 6.70 cr on Friday and Rs 10.00 cr on Saturday. The first Sunday brought in Rs 13.05 cr, followed by Rs 11.25 cr on Monday.
Day-wise collection of ‘Mandaadi’
The film’s India net collection stood at Rs 4.85 cr on Day 1. It earned Rs 6.70 cr on Day 2 and Rs 10.00 cr on Day 3. On Day 4, ‘Mandaadi’ collected Rs 13.05 cr. The film followed it with Rs 11.25 cr on Day 5 before earning Rs 4.40 cr on Day 6.The Tamil version contributed Rs 3.40 cr to Tuesday’s India net collection. On Day 6, ‘Mandaadi’ earned a gross of Rs 1.10 cr in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 3.50 cr. Karnataka added Rs 30 lakhs to the day’s gross collection. Kerala contributed Rs 17 lakhs, while the rest of India accounted for Rs 8 lakhs. The combined state-wise gross for the day stood at Rs 5.15 cr.
‘Sardar 2’ box office collection day 6
Karthi starrer ‘Sardar 2’ also recorded a drop in collections on its first Tuesday. The movie earned Rs 54 lakhs in India net from 2,260 shows on September 15. Its cumulative India net collection has reached Rs 13.64 cr. The India gross currently stands at Rs 15.97 cr. The film has earned Rs 4.50 cr in overseas gross collections.As a result, ‘Sardar 2’ has recorded a worldwide gross of Rs 20.47 cr. Its Day 6 collection was 64.0 percent lower than the Rs 1.50 cr net collection recorded on Monday. The Karthi starrer opened with Rs 4.50 cr on Day 1. It collected Rs 2.45 cr on Day 2 and Rs 2.20 cr on Day 3. Day 4 brought in Rs 2.45 cr, followed by Rs 1.50 cr on Day 5 and Rs 54 lakhs on Day 6.The Tamil version earned Rs 38 lakhs on Tuesday from 1,430 shows. It registered 14.0 percent occupancy.
