India’s women’s hockey team at Asian Games

India’s campaign at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, continues on Friday, October 2, with Indian athletes competing across several disciplines and multiple medal events on the schedule.The recurve archers will be in action in their respective team semifinals. Dhiraj Bommadevara will be one of the Indians to watch as he competes in both the men’s team and mixed team events.The Indian women’s hockey team will play the final against China, with a gold medal and a place at the LA 2028 Olympics at stake. India will be looking to win the final and secure the Olympic qualification.Boxing will also feature three gold medal bouts involving Indian boxers.
