Delhi Police had transferred complaints from three female journalists alleging sexual harassment by police personnel during a protest in the New Delhi area on October 3 to the Crime Branch at Kamla Market for further action. The complaints were received by the New Delhi district police amid what it described as an “emergent law and order situation” during the protest.Talking to ANI, one of the victim said, “Yesterday, during the protest involving Neha Bora, I was recording the scene as she was being detained; I noticed there were no female constables present at that moment. In my video, I questioned why there wasn’t a female constable while a woman was being detained.”These allegations have led to fresh protests outside the Parliament Street police station, with demonstrators seeking action over the alleged misconduct.
