Social media witnessed a severe Montana meltdown as Montana Governor Greg Gianforte went to India for trade talks. While Gianforte got trolled, with some calling for his impeachment too, one social media account went after Indians working at Montana State University, only to get exposed for stupidity as social media users pointed out that all of them are from the top educational instututes of India.“Montana State University’s Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Department is headed by a graduate of the Punjab Agricultural University,” the account posted from the website of the university. The same screenshot showed that Dilpreet Singh Bajwa, the head of the department, did his MS and PhD in the US, from the University of Illinois.“Montana State University’s Dean of the College of Agriculture is a graduate of the Kerala Agricultural University in India,” the post said about Sreekala Bajwa. Sreekala did her master’s at IIT Kharagpur and then her doctorate from the University of Illinois.“Montana State University Professor Shivali Banerjee is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay,” the post said, without knowing the standard of IITs in India.“Montana State University Professor Amalesh Jana is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati and Jadavpur University,” the post said about the fourth person. Jana did his PhD at Oregon State University.While the MAGA account thought these findings to be a great expose, social media users marveled at the foolishness.

- “Imagine being so stupid that you think pointing out someone graduating from IIT Bombay is an insult!,” another wrote.
- “IIT Bombay is one of the best universities in India, you need to be a really smart student to get into that,” a third user wrote.
- “Are you bragging US secured the best of best of india?” one questioned.
- “It’s harder to get into IIT Bombay than it is to get into Harvard or MIT,” one comment read.
- “I know of an IITB graduate multimillionaire in Silicon Valley whose entire house staff is white Americans. Reel in your racism, your next job could be doing laundry for an IITB graduate,” one offered a reality check.
