Neena Gupta, taken aback, shared that she hadn’t known about it and had assumed Irrfan was overseas at the time. Reflecting on the late actor’s son, Babil Khan, Mishra went on to praise him with heartfelt words, saying, “Bada cute lagta hai yaar. Kabhi kabhi lagta hai young Irrfan Bhai hai, NSD wale. Ek dum aise hi dikhte the. (He looks so cute, yaar. Sometimes, he even reminds me of a young Irrfan Bhai from his NSD days. He used to look exactly the same).”

Irrfan Khan is known as one of India’s most respected actors. Even during his early days at the National School of Drama, he showed great passion and honesty in his work. Irrfan passed away on April 29, 2020, at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital after fighting bravely against a neuroendocrine tumour.
