Three-time Grammy winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion has opened up about finding love with NBA player Klay Thompson, saying she’s “overly comfortable.” The rapper also shared how she found love when she was not even expecting it and advised fans not to jump into a relationship ‘just because everybody else got one.‘
Meghan Thee Stallion didn’t plan on finding love
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Megan Thee Stallion reflected on her relationship with Dallas Mavericks player Klay Thompson. The 30-year old admitted she didn’t see it (love) coming. “Well, I don’t never want to tell [anybody] to just jump in a relationship just because everybody else got one, and I’m not going to tell you to just jump in a relationship because you have to,” said Stallion. “I didn’t even know I was going to be in my relationship, to be honest.”
The rapper credits self-growth for opening her up to love
The rapper also says that she didn’t plan on finding love, and love found her when she started focusing on herself. “I think that because finally I started being in a better mind space about myself and my life, and I had already been doing a lot of work to heal me,” she recalls. “I had been going to therapy, I had a bunch of activities that I started doing for myself; maybe God just opened up that space for me to have somebody that loved me right.”

“This is one of the first times that I’ve ever been just overly comfortable,” Megan shares with a giggle: “I’m comfy, babe!”Previously, in an interview with the same portal, the ‘Lover Girl’ singer called Thompson the “nicest person” she’s ever met in her life. In her ‘lover girl’ era, Megan Thee Stallion is focusing on herself and growing with someone she loves.
