Manju Warrier and Kunchacko Boban reunite for ‘Nere Chovva’, a film announced on Valentine’s Day. Boban’s character aims to be the first man on Mars, as hinted in a quirky title poster. This marks their fourth collaboration, following successful films like ‘How Old Are You?’. The movie is directed by debutant Renjit Varma.

Superstar Manju Warrier is teaming up with her ‘How Old Are You?’ co-star Kunchacko Boban for an upcoming film titled ‘Nere Chovva’. The makers announced the title today, February 14, on Valentine’s Day. The title poster gives a glimpse of Kunchacko Boban’s character Chandran KC’s life. Chandran’s life mission is to land on Mars and become the first man to do so. The quirky video shows Chandran wearing a t-shirt and Madras chequered dhoti inside the spacecraft, before slipping into proper gear to land on Mars. Kunchacko Boban and Manju Warrier will play the lead roles, and the makers will soon announce the rest of the cast.

Manju Warrier and Kunchacko Boban’s previous collaboration

Manju Warrier and Kunchacko Boban first teamed up in 2014 for her comeback film ‘How Old Are You?’. The film helmed by Rosshan Andrrews featured them as a married couple. The film also marked Manju Warrier’s second innings after a 15-year break. The empowering story struck a chord with the audience, as did their on-screen chemistry. Later in 2016, they teamed up for Rajesh Pillai’s directorial ‘Vettah’. The tense psychological thriller showcased their strong performances. And as the on-screen couple reunites, the audience has huge expectations. On the work front, Kunchacko Boban will be next seen in ‘Patriot’ helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan. The upcoming Malayalam film also features Mammootty, Mohanlal, Nayanthara, and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. The film will hit the big screens on April 23. Meanwhile, Manju Warrier is basking in the win of the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film ‘Asuran’. “What’s yours will find you.
