The makers of Kaattalan, directed by Paul George have released the film’s first lyrical video. The project stars Antony Varghese Pepe, Dusara Vijayan, Sunil, and Kabir Singh in key roles. The song is titled “Majako Mallika” and it arrives with a fierce forest rhythm and quickly gained traction across social media platforms.
Sunil’s dance performance garners special attention
One major talking point has been Sunil’s performance whose energetic moves in “Majako Mallika” have caught the eye of viewers. Many fans praised his ease of movement. One user commented, “Actor Sunil’s dance capability is next level bro, he does it with ease.” The song is also compared with the ‘Coolie’ song ‘Monica’ as another viewer wrote, “Monicaaaaaaaaa… love you Monica.” A separate comment added, “1:48 Monica start.”
Ajaneesh Loknath ’s composition
The song’s music is composed by celebrated Kannada musician B. Ajaneesh Loknath, who is also behind the score for ‘Kantara Chapter 2’. This makes Kaattalan his next major outing. The track is sung by Anand Sreeraj and Bhadra, with lyrics written by Vinayak Sasikumar.Though the song has grabbed attention, audience reactions have varied widely. One social media user wrote, “I don’t know why but I remember ‘Money Heist’.” Another viewer expressed concern about the musical impact, stating, “There isn’t even a beat that could create waves in theatres. Will have to see how the rest of the music is.”In contrast, another comment predicted future success: “It’s a solid song, super! Don’t look at the negative comments now. After some time, this will blow up… and it’s a vibe song meant for a villain too.”
