According to the Deccan Chronicle, reports of Farhan Akhtar stepping away as the director of ‘Don 3’ are false. Earlier, it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan agreed to reprise his role as Don in the film but demanded to get Atlee on board as the director.A source told the publication that ‘Don’ is Farhan’s franchise, so why would he back out from the project as the director?The insider further rubbished the reports about Shah Rukh Khan and his Atlle demand. The person stated that the filmmaker didn’t approach SRK after Ranveer Singh’s exit. As per the report, Farhan is considering playing the iconic character in the film himself.
