Travis Kelce rushed to a fan’s side after a golf shot struck her during the final hole of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Feb. 13 in California. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end had shouted a warning, but the ball still made contact. He immediately walked over, spoke to the woman, and remained there to make sure she was safe.

Local outlet KSBW identified the spectator as Edenne Flinn. Clips circulating across social media platforms captured Kelce approaching her golf cart right after the impact.“You alright?” he asked.A bystander wrote over one video, “POV: Travis Kelce yells ‘FORE’ but you still get hit lol.”KSBW reported that Kelce signed an autograph after confirming that Flinn was not injured. He then stopped playing the hole. His two-day total finished at 10 under par, ten shots behind the winning mark.

A similar moment unfolded in July 2024 at the American Century Championship, where Kelce hit another spectator. Katie Hauss later described the scene to People.“When I got hit, I immediately felt pain,” she said. “I was just trying to focus on not blacking out, and at that point I didn’t really know what had happened. I then heard people start yelling and screaming that it was Travis Kelce’s golf shot, and ‘Oh my god, that girl just got hit in the head.’ ”“I tried to stay really calm and told my husband that I thought I was ok, it just hurt really bad,” she continued. “Then when I put my hand to my head there was a lot of blood.”Hauss praised a stranger who stepped in. “I am just so appreciative to that man for helping me, a complete stranger, and I wish I could thank him for his kindness.”Kelce later reached her. “I just remember seeing him come up and then I don’t remember exactly what he said, but he asked if I was ok. I could tell that he felt really badly.”Doctors treated her for a concussion and stitches. She added, “Travis said that he couldn’t bring himself to smile given the circumstances. I honestly felt bad for him, because I know that it was a total accident, and that can’t feel good to do that with a huge crowd looking on.”Kelce, born in Westlake, Ohio, has built a Hall of Fame-caliber career with the Chiefs, winning three Super Bowls and setting multiple records at the tight end position.
