Famed actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested in New Orleans on Monday ahead of Mardi Gras celebrations. Due to an alleged physical altercation, the star was taken in by the authorities; however, he was later released. Soon after, the actor was spotted in public dancing to music, all the while holding his release papers in his mouth.Read on to know what happened.

TMZ reported earlier that soon after the actor was released from jail following his arrest, he went to a popular burger place to eat a plate of burgers and fries. As per the report, the actor remained quiet and even chatted with a newlywed couple about the importance of marriage.Now, in another report, videos and photos have surfaced online, showing the actor dancing away to music. Hours after his release, LaBeouf returned to Bourbon Street and was spotted with Mardi Gras beads around his neck. In the videos, LaBeouf had the official blue-and-white jail in his mouth as he danced along with the crowd, which was later stopped and dispersed by the authorities.

On Monday, the ‘Transformers’ actor was arrested while celebrating the Mardi Gras festival in New Orleans. It was reported that the actor had allegedly been caught in a physical altercation, to which the authorities had responded. He was taken into custody “in response to a simple battery where two victims (two adult males), reported being assaulted.”New Orleans Police Department further detailed the matter and shared, “Investigators say a man identified as 39-year-old Shia LaBeouf was reportedly causing a disturbance and becoming increasingly aggressive at a Royal Street business. A staff member attempted to eject Mr. LaBeouf from the establishment. Once removed from the building, the victim reported being struck by LaBeouf, who used his closed fists on the victim several times.”They added that the idol had initially left the premises; however, he had returned later on and had turned aggressive. Many people had helped in holding him back. He was taken to the hospital and was later arrested on two counts of simple battery.He appeared for a court hearing the following day virtually, and was served with the charges, and his second scheduled court date was set for March 19.
