Samantha Ruth Prabhu is gearing up to return to the big screen with a powerful new role in the Telugu drama ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’. The film has been generating buzz ever since its announcement, and the excitement has now doubled with the confirmation of its theatrical release.
Release date revealed with intriguing poster
The makers have officially announced that the film will arrive in cinemas worldwide on May 15, 2026. Samantha shared the update on social media along with a striking poster. In the image, she peers through a doorway with a curious, watchful expression, hinting at the mystery surrounding her character.
Teasing fans about the upcoming release, she wrote, “See you in theatres this summer, Bangaraalu… #MaaIntiBangaaram Grand Release worldwide on 15th May, 2026 #MiBonMay15th #MiB (sic).” The post quickly gained traction online, fueling anticipation for the summer release.
First look hints at intensity
Earlier, the team had unveiled a first-look poster that suggested a more intense tone. The image showed Samantha inside a bus, dressed in a simple brown saree, her eyes filled with determination as if she were ready to confront someone.Sharing that visual, she told fans, “You just keep watching… #MaaIntiBangaaram will be connecting with y’all.”The grounded styling and raw emotion hint that the film will focus more on performance and storytelling than spectacle.

Directed by BV Nandini Reddy, the drama explores the journey of a woman whose resilience is shaped by both strength and vulnerability.
