The makers of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ released the first song from the film, the revised version of ‘Aari Aari’, on the internet. ‘Bombay Rockers’ released the original song in 2003 as part of their debut album titled ‘Introducing’. The band consisted of the duo Navtej Singh Rehal and Thomas Sardorf. There was a massive wave of good indie pop music in the early 2000s, and ‘Aari Aari’ became a chart topper at that time.‘Bombay Rockers’ is a Danish music duo popular in India and across the globe. Their debut album, ‘Introducing’, has gone five times Platinum, with sales of over 100,000 records. The band was formed after Navtej Singh Rehal met Thomas Sardorf and Janus Barnewitz of the production team WCA in 2003.After jamming together for some time, they formed a band with Navtej (Naf) providing the Punjabi and Hindi vocals, while Thomas worked on the English lyrics. Janus handled the music production.‘Aari Aari’ went on to receive extensive airplay in Denmark. Their next single, ‘Rock Tha Party’, also became a massive international hit. Reportedly, their debut album was released across 31 countries, making them global artists.The track ‘Rock Tha Party’ was also featured in the John Abraham starrer ‘Rocky Handsome’, directed by Nishikant Kamat.
