The third season is set to premiere on HBO on April 12. Returning cast members include Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Colman Domingo, Eric Dane, and Maude Apatow. The new episodes will also introduce fresh faces, including Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Eli Roth, and Sam Trammell.Creator Sam Levinson previously shared story details during an HBO Max presentation in December 2025. He said Rue will be “south of the border in Mexico, in debt to Laurie, trying to come up with some very innovative ways to pay it off.” He also revealed that Cassie and Nate get married, while Cassie is “very addicted to social media and envious of what appears to be the big lives that all of her high school classmates are living at this point in time.”The new season also places Jules in art school, Maddy at a talent agency in Hollywood, and Lexi working as an assistant to a showrunner.
