Online personality James McCoy Taylor, who is best known for his feature on ‘The Bachelorette,’ has been arrested. As per the latest reports, the star was taken into custody only a few days ago. The news comes almost a year after his assault charges.

James McCoy Taylor was arrested in relation to the 2024 assault case

As per reports shared by TMZ, Taylor was re-arrested by the respective authorities in Texas on March 20. He was arrested in relation to assault charges, which had been filed against him in April 2024. He was taken into custody following a probable cause notice, which was issued by the Bryan Police Department. A statement from the report further cited that ‘The Bachelorette’ alum had “intentionally or knowingly by force, intimidation or deception, restrained [a woman] without her consent by restricting the moments of the said [woman], by shoving her to the ground, getting on top of her and using his body weight to prevent her from getting off the ground.”Providing more details, the probable cause notice recalled the events that occurred in College Station, citing that the two of them had met at the bar. Initially, the woman had gone back to Taylor’s home; however, she had wished to stop and leave soon after. When she tried to leave his home, he tackled her; however, she was able to escape and call the authorities. After being arrested on March 20, he was detained for the day and was released as well after a bail of USD 10,000 was posted for him. In April 2024, it all started when the man was accused of allegedly causing bodily injury and unlawful restraint. In August 2024, he was yet again taken into custody on the same two charges at College Station, Texas. He was found guilty on all charges and served 80 hours of community service, along with a USD 1,000 fine as well as anger management classes.
