Sean’s name was earlier listed as ‘Sean Preston Federlin’, however, after spending time with his mother on a yacht a few days ago, the singer’s fans noticed that he changed his surname to Spears.

Sean Preston Federline has changed his last name on all of his socials. Earlier, his name used to be listed as Sean Preston, though now he has changed it completely to Sean P Spears. He reduced his middle name to simply P, while also adding Spears to his last name. The change is only for his social media platforms for now.Neither Britney Spears, nor her ex-partner Kevin Federline have issued any statement about the recent matter.

The sudden change in name comes after Britney Spears was taken in by the authorities for driving under the influence. Following her arrest her legal reps had issued a statement about how the singer would be spending time with her sons and will be focusing on her health to recover. A few days ago, Sean and Spears were spotted together on a yatch ride as well having a relaxing time. He has also been spending a lot of his time with his brother, Jayden James.

The two exes have been at the forefront of headlines after Federline released his memoir last year. He alleged on multiple occasions that Spears was an alcoholic and had left him worried about their son’s health and well-being on multiple occasions. In response, Spears had made a series of social media posts about the matter, citing that her ex-husband had made all false allegations in his book, and that this was an attempt to defame her.
