Anne Hathaway, who is all set and ready to return to the big screen as Andy Sachs, has been going around and attending all of the promotional events for ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2.’ During her latest appearance in Shanghai, however, the famed movie star ended up getting teary-eyed and emotional.

During the cast’s visit to Shanghai for the promotion of their latest film, Hathaway ended up getting emotional and expressing how overwhelmed and happy she feels because of everything. Videos and photos from the event went viral online, showing the cast talking about reprising their roles after so long.The grand fan event was a big spectacle and was designed and inspired by the famous MET Gala red carpet stairs. Seeing all of the love and support from all the people who showed up at the event, Hathaway ended up getting overwhelmed. She said to the crowd, “I am overwhelmed. I wasn’t expecting to feel emotional, but there are so many of you. Thank you for all of this.”

The film explores their lives from a different standpoint, and even sees Sachs returning to the fashion world to help Miranda out. The film will be released in theatres worldwide on May 1, 2026.
