Guy Fieri issues statement amid backlash for greeting Andrew and Tristan Tate

Taking to social media on April 14, the ‘Guy’s Ranch Kitchen’ star shared his side of the situation and clarified his interaction with Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate. In his statement he wrote, “I’m seeing all of your comments about the photo from Saturday’s UFC event and all I can say is that I’m devastated. I was there to see the fights and when I was walking through the venue, the Tate brothers stood up and said hello and that’s when the exchanged happened. I did not know them or about them before that moment.”He clarified that the greeting did not mean anything and that was one of the first times that he was interacting with either of the Tate brothers. He further explained that he is not a “perfect person”, however he is in no way connected to the Tate brothers, and that he does not support them either. “I do not know the Tate brothers nor do I support them in any way,” he concluded. Guy Fieri had attended a UFC 327 fight at Kaseya Center in Miami on Saturday, April 11. The Tate brothers, along with other personalities and politicians were also present at the event.
