Miles Teller, best known for his acclaimed performances in ‘Whiplash’ and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, is celebrating a major business win. The actor, 39, has sold his minority stake in Finnish-style canned cocktail brand, as part of a USD 325 million acquisition. However, this business move doesn’t mean that the artist’s focus from acting has shifted.
Miles Teller talks about the sale and confirms that he is ‘not’ retiring from acting
Teller expressed pride in the achievement without revealing the exact details of his personal payout. “I’ve been feeling very proud. I’m very excited for our founders. How cool for them to come from a country where they don’t export a lot of things on the global stage. But this drink, their national beverage, for them to bring this product here that they believed in and to scale it and grow it organically, it’s the true American dream,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. On the question of his own financial gain, he kept things characteristically understated. “I don’t really talk numbers. I was always taught that’s not in good taste. All I’ll say is that I’m not retiring from acting anytime soon.”Teller first landed his minority stake in the brand in 2019. Forbes reported in 2024 that he had since carved out a larger ownership stake in the company, which also counts Jay-Z’s Marcy Venture Partners among its investors.
What Miles Teller’s sale means for his production ambitions
Teller also spoke about how the payout could open new doors for him as a producer. “Yeah, I think if anything, I’ve gravitated toward underdog stories. I really like chip-on-the-shoulder characters, odds stacked against you. This gives me a lot of confidence to trust my instincts. I’ve been producing for the last several years. It certainly helps,” he added.
What Miles Teller’s wife, Keleigh , said about the deal
Teller’s wife, Keleigh, also shared her excitement on Instagram, making clear the couple would remain connected to the brand. “Excited to announce our very first company we created has been acquired by Mark Anthony. BUT we’re just getting started! We will still be involved and can’t wait to keep growing Long Drink everywhere. This company brought us together with so many of our dearest friends on this journey. We are so grateful to everyone who has been along for the ride,” she wrote. For Teller, the sale of Long Drink marks a significant milestone in what has quietly become one of Hollywood’s more successful celebrity business ventures.
