Salman Khan’s upcoming film Maatrubhumi is currently facing uncertainty due to a title change and government concerns over its content, which reportedly touches on China and related themes. Amidst all of this, the superstar has officially announced his next project with filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally. The actor dropped a BTS video on his social media, and it has left his fans hyped up for the film already.

Salman Khan posted a behind-the-scenes video of his upcoming collaboration with director Vamshi Paidipally. The film backed by Dil Raju, will also feature Tamil cinema’s lady superstar Nayanthara as the female lead. The video showcased a glimpse of Salman Khan, Nayanthara, and others associated with the project arriving on the set for the mahurat shot.In the caption of the post, he shared that the film will arrive in Eid 2027. He also added that the makers will also announce the release date of ‘Maatrubhumi’ soon. It read, “Thoda durr ki sochna chahiye, That’s why announced Eid….. Currently, Salman Khan is waiting, gearing up for the release of ‘Maatrubhumi’, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film was initially titled ‘Battle of Galwan’; however, the makers made changes later. After the government intervened, references to China and Galwan Valley were removed due to a directive from the Ministry of Defense, which suggested that depicting China as an adversary may not be appropriate given the recent improvement in relations between the two countries.According to the Bollywood Hungama report, the actor has reshot 40 percent of the film, as they had to add a romantic angle and a backstory as well. Meanwhile, the release date has not been announced as of now.
