Suvinder made his debut with the show ‘Full Tension’ in 1995. His career gained serious momentum with the acclaimed series ‘Kohrra’, but it was Brigadier Jahangir in ‘Dhurandhar 2’ that truly made him a pop culture phenomenon. The character’s sharp wit and commanding screen presence struck a chord with audiences, spawning a wave of memes across social media.Asked how he feels about the meme fest surrounding his character, Suvinder told IANS, “No, we enjoy it. I mean, I’ve just started, basically, after 22–23, and I’m enjoying it.”Far from being bothered by the viral attention, the actor sees it as a joyful bonus to years of perseverance. He said, “So now, with success, it feels like an addition, something different. I mean, I’m starting to enjoy it more. I’m starting to get a good feeling from within that, okay, people like your character’s role.”He also reflected warmly on one particular meme that has taken on a life of its own: “They see it as a series or a film, but when there are different kinds of memes about it, like this one, ‘my father is good,’ right? So, ‘my father is good’, that’s a different kind of fun. So, it’s okay with kids; other than that, it’s a bit of a family game.”
