Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ directed by ‘Uppena’ fame Buchi Babu Sana, is one of the most anticipated films to release this summer. After the makers announced its revised release date, they went on to confirm that the film’s edit has been locked on Thursday.
Final edit locked
The makers took to their X (formerly Twitter) handle to share the picture from their editing room, featuring the director and the editor of the film standing with their hands folded with Ram Charan’s poster put on the screen behind them.
Sharing the news, the makers wrote, “The #PEDDI Edit has been locked! All set and ready for massive premieres from JUNE 3rd 2026. #PEDDI WORLDWIDE RELEASE IN CINEMAS ON June 4th. #GetReadyForPeddi.”
Cinematographer’s shoot wrapped
A few days ago, cinematographer R Rathnavelu also confirmed that the shooting of the film had been completed. He shared emotional posts about working with Ram Charan and called the journey memorable.He wrote, “It’s a wrap for Mega power star @AlwaysRamCharan ! #Peddi -A Memorable journey. Working with #RC has been truly special. A powerhouse performer on screen and a wonderful friend off it.” He also praised Ram Charan for being warm and reliable during the shoot.

Special song in ‘Peddi’
Before the shoot was wrapped up, the team was busy filming the final song of the movie in Hyderabad. Reports said the song will feature Ram Charan in a grand special number with a surprise element for audiences. The music for the film is composed by A. R. Rahman. The special song is said to feature actress and musician Shruti Haasan tapping feet with the ‘RRR’ star.
