Cher’s current residence in Malibu

The Italian Renaissance-style villa was designed by none other than Martyn Lawrence Bullard and offers a view of the Pacific Ocean. The mansion spans across a whopping 13,126 square feet and is one of the largest properties that she has owned over the years. It includes seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, a courtyard fountain, a meditation room, a gym, and an infinity pool. As per the reports, the singer had attempted to sell the house in 2022 and 2023; however, after failing to do so, she reportedly still lives in the space.
Beverly Hills Cottage
Architectural Digest reported that the famed singer bought a Beverly Hills Cottage all the way back in 2013. The cottage spans across 3000 square feet of area, and also features large fireplaces all over the house, as well as beamed ceilings and an overall rustic touch.

Bought in 2010, this is one of the simplest properties that she has owned over the years. A seafacing house, with a roofed deck and simple, white-washed walls. While she purchased the property for USD 1.5 million, she sold it off three years later, earning a profit of about USD 500 thousand.
The singer’s peculiar house in London
The star also owns properties outside of the US. Situated in the unlikely region of Wapping, Cher bought a space for herself in the town to rest and relax. While talking to Clive Anderson in 1990 about her home in Europe, she cited that no one bothers her there and that she can easily relax. She further explained that “It really not handy for anything, but I can rollerblade there, I like my neighbours we have a chat, there is a pub underneath me and everyone sort of just leaves me alone.”
Cher’s famed Hollywood apartment
Another addition to her portfolio is her beloved Hollywood apartment in Los Angeles. In 2006, she purchased the apartment in the famous Sierra Towers building. She bought the apartment as per the reports for USD 3 million, though in 2013, it was listed for USD 5.3 million. Many other celebrities either currently own or have owned an apartment at this property in West Hollywood. This also includes Sir Elton John, Courtney Cox, Joan Collins, and Sandra Bullock, to name a few.
Cher’s space away in Hawaii
Cher also owned a property away in Honolulu, Hawaii. The space was generously made in the Four Seasons Resort in Hualalai on Hawaii’s Big Island. A key feature of the space was the fact that while the main house only had one large bedroom, it had around 5 other courtyard bedrooms situated around the house. In 2019, the property was listed for USD 11 million.
Cher’s Bel-Air, California residence
One of her older properties, Cher bought the space for USD 250 thousand with Sonny Bono in 1967. The house was designed while keeping Moroccan style in mind, and featured stylish and intricate tile work all around, along with ornate wood carvings.
Cher’s grand Owlwood Estate, in Beverley Hills, California
Another one of her largest properties over the years, Cher and Sonny bought the property in 1974 for USD 750 thousand, though they had been wanting to purchase the space for much longer. The house was built in 1936 and was spread across 12,000 square feet of land. At the time, actor Tony Curtis owned the house; however, as he was moving to London, he ended up selling the property to the beloved couple. In 2021, the property was sold off for USD 88 million, though it had been listed for USD 180 million only 4 years before this.DISCLAIMER: Figures presented in this article are derived from various public sources and are considered approximate unless explicitly noted.
