As reported by Republic, he said, “When there’s great cinema like KGF, Pushpa 2, Dhurandhar, Kantara and RRR, people have come back to the theatres.” He admitted that many in the industry were worried during the pandemic period, but audience behaviour has changed once again in favour of theatres. He also pointed out that cinema remains one of the most affordable forms of entertainment in India. “You take your family, watch a film, and then discuss it together. It is a great communal activity,” he said, while jokingly adding that lower popcorn prices would make the experience even better.

The actor also had special praise for Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar,’ which became one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema. Ram Charan revealed that he recently watched the film on OTT and was highly impressed. “It was terrific, fantastic, and phenomenal. Everything fell into place in the right way and at the right tempo,” he said. He further explained that films with strong emotional and national themes often connect with audiences across regions.
